GREENVILLE, N.C. — The Greenville Police Department has announced the arrest of the fourth and final suspect linked to a shooting that occurred on July 6, 2024.
The shooting, which took place around 5 p.m. on Pitt Street, resulted in a man being shot in the leg during a drive-by incident. The victim was transported to ECU Health Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Initial investigations led to the arrest of Trevon Delaney and Dontravion Waller on the same day as the shooting. Both individuals were found in the suspected vehicle and charged with accessory after the fact, as authorities believe they were present in the car during the incident.
On July 15, 2024, Victor Rivera was identified as the primary suspect and subsequently charged with the shooting.
The final suspect, De’Rondai Hill, was apprehended on July 27, 2024, on Stone Bend Drive. Hill faces charges of accessory after the fact in relation to the attempted murder.
